Our Story
Wan-Wen Foods founder, Mr. Liang Huo-Cun, earned consumer trust and recognition through an unwavering commitment to quality, making Wan-Wen one of the most iconic shops in Taichung's First Market.
In 1978, a devastating fire destroyed the First Market — the most representative consumer marketplace of the Japanese colonial era. A commercial building was later erected on the site, known as "First Plaza."
In 2016, the building was officially renamed "Dongxie Plaza." As the First Market gradually faded into history, Wan-Wen Foods relocated to Lüchuan West Street in Taichung (formerly known as the Second Dingcuo area). To meet the needs of a growing customer base, we further invested in modernizing our production facilities.
Established in Taichung for over 60 years, Wan-Wen is a time-honored fish specialty brand renowned for its fresh, flavorful golden fish floss. With traditional craftsmanship and authentic recipes, our marlin fish floss, fish balls, and other signature products have become part of the shared memory of growing up in Taichung — a taste that connects generations.
